Intervention at the "Industrial biotechnologies and carbon footprint reduction: challenges and solutions" day, 4 July 2022
Adebiotech, an independent scientific think tankon Biotechnology and One Health since 2007, is organising a conference/debate on 4 July 2022 (Romainville - Paris) on the issue of reducing the carbon footprint of the bioproduction, pharmaceutical and "non-pharmaceutical" industries in the context of climate change.
Through presentations by industrialists, technology transfer centres and experts, this conference will address life cycle analyses (LCA), testimonies from industrialists and from the fermentation (Metex Noovistago), cosmetics (Givaudan) and pharmaceutical (Novo Nordisk) sectors, the point of view of academics and innovative technology transfer centres (TBI/INSA Toulouse).
Fabrice Bosque, Head of Environment & Eco-Industries at ITERG, will take part in the final round table to talk about the challenges of assessing the carbon footprint in bioproductions.
