ISO standardization meeting on Campus Avril - May 22-26, 2023

The TC34/SC2 ISO (International Organization for Standardization) "Oilseeds and meal fruits and oilseeds" and SC11 "Animal and vegetable fats and oils" technical committee meetings were held from May 22 to 26 in Bruz, France, on the Groupe Avril campus.
Delegations from 13 countries were represented.
The development and improvement of analytical methods ranging from simple color determination to specialized determination of contaminants such as MOSH/MOAH and phthalates were discussed.

Florence Lacoste, Analysis expert at ITERG, chaired her last SC11 Committee meeting following her retirement. With her was Lionel Lagardère, Production Manager for the Analysis Department.

As a reminder, Lionel Lagardère recently took over the Presidency of the AFNOR/60C Commission "Fats of animal and vegetable origin" for a 3-year term.
