Six-membered cyclic biscarbonates for the preparation of polymers
The present invention relates to six-membered cyclic biscarbonates of formula: wherein: – A is selected from the group consisting of -CH=CH- and -CH 2 CHR’-S-R-S-CHR »CH 2 -, wherein R is a linear or branched alkylene radical in C 2 -C 6 , optionally interrupted by one or more oxygen atoms, and wherein R’ and R », identical or different, are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen atom and linear alkyl radicals in C 1 -C 10 ; and – A’ and A », identical or different, are linear or branched alkylene radicals in C 1 -C 12 , on the proviso that, when A is -CH 2 CH 2 -S-R-S-CH 2 CH 2 -, A’ and A » are in C 2 -C 12 , and their use for the preparation of polymers, such as poly(hydroxyurethane)s.
