ITERG's Innovation Strategy: at the crossroads of Research and Industry

Research and Innovation activities are at the crossroads between the worlds of research (public partnerships and international communication) and industry (confidentiality of results, economic reality and market positioning).

Our mission is to meet the requirements of sustainability, preservation of natural resources, biomass valorization, as well as product safety and quality.

Listening and Gathering Industrial Needs

The strategy of gathering the needs of industrial stakeholders is one of the components of the Industrial Technical Center's mission. The expectations of ITERG's members and professional organizations are regularly expressed at thematic exchange seminars and specialized technical committees. At the same time, regular contacts are established through B2B prospecting with manufacturers in the agri-food and biosourced economy sectors, with a flow of around 300 customers a year, enabling us to measure market priorities and associated challenges.

Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation

ITERG's Research-Development-Innovation (RDI) strategy is designed to meet current and future sustainability challenges. We are dedicated to preserving natural resources and promoting practices that support the valorization of biomass, while guaranteeing the safety and quality of end products.

Supporting industrial innovation at every TRL stage

ITERG is uniquely positioned to cover the full range of technological maturity levels (TRL), offering tailor-made support to manufacturers. Our expertise spans several key areas:

Product Quality and Safety

We pay rigorous attention to product quality and safety, ensuring that our products meet the most stringent requirements.

Nutrition-Health

Our commitment to nutrition and health aims to develop products that contribute to the health and well-being of consumers.

Environmental Approaches

ITERG is at the forefront of environmental initiatives, promoting sustainable development and reducing the ecological footprint of industrial processes.

New Product or Process Development

We support innovation in new products and processes, helping companies to stay competitive and in step with market trends.

Product quality and safety

Our analytical research at ITERG is based on three pillars: the development of cutting-edge analytical methods, the creation of quality and preservation indicators, and the characterization of co-products to create industrial value.

Health Nutrition

Preventing the development of major pathologies with a nutritional component is both a public health objective and a driver of innovation for AFI. ITERG is working in both directions, by participating in major public health research programs, and by developing the nutritional innovation potential of fats and vegetable proteins.

Environmental initiatives

For:
- Improve your industrial performance

- Reduce the environmental impact of your products and processes.

- Developing eco-responsible products.

- Guarantee your regulatory compliance

Development of new products and processes

  • Substitution of petrochemical components with bio-based molecules
  • Enhancemrnt of co-products
  • Eco-designed processes (savings in materials, energy, waste) for cleaner and less toxic chemistry for humans
  • Industrial ecology
  • Competitive processes.
