A new impetus for environmental assessment and eco-design in the agri-food sector
We are pleased to announce the renewal of the Actia ECOVAL Joint Technology Network (JTN), a collective structuring project dedicated to the environmental assessment and eco-design of agri-food products and processes.
The Actia ECOVAL RMT brings together stakeholders in research, development, and training around a common goal: to support agri-food sectors in controlling and reducing their environmental impact throughout the entire product life cycle.
Objectives of the Actia ECOVAL RMT 2026-2030
In line with the actions undertaken since 2007, the renewal of the RMT aims in particular to:
-
better understand all the environmental issues related to food production
-
consolidate data, methodologies, and tools for assessing the environmental impacts of food products
-
Identify and prioritize levers for action to reduce the overall ecological footprint of AFI
-
promote knowledge transfer and skills development among stakeholders.
A collective dynamic
Coordinated by ITERG and CTCPA, the Actia ECOVAL RMT relies on close collaboration between technical institutes, research organizations, and training providers to produce operational results that benefit businesses and industries.
This renewal confirms the partners' commitment to a sustainable and efficient transition in the agri-food sector.
